How We Define Spam

Sending an email to someone you don’t know, haven’t done business with or someone who hasn’t joined your mailing list is classed as an “unsolicited” email. When you send unsolicited emails to a mailing list full of people you don’t know, haven’t done business with or someone who hasn’t joined your mailing list then that’s sending spam.

Opt-in Lists Only

You must only send emails through the Futuremail platform to people who you know and who have given you permission. If you don’t have people’s permission then please don’t import them into Futuremail. We’ll tell you straight up if your wanting to purchase bulk lists off the internet and make a fortune quickly and easily then forget it – it’s not going to happen. You’ll end up annoying more people than it’s worth!

  1. No bulk purchased emails – no 1,000,000 emails for $99 lists – your wasting your time anyway
  2. No harvested email addresses you’ve collected from people’s CC/BCC fields. They don’t know you’ve got their email and will most likely be upset if you start sending them unsolicited emails
  3. No rented or borrowed lists – even if they’ve been qualified and the company selling the list say they are legitimate

If we receive complaints against you we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account without refund. It’s a simple formula – don’t spam and everyone will get along well.

Over the years we have proven through experience that the best lists are ones that you collect over time from people that are interested in your product or service. People who visit your website and join your mailing list wish to receive your emails. They will generally read your emails and also have a high probability of buying from you. Sending emails to existing clients is also one of the most powerful methods of repeat sales and keeping customers. It’s not rocket science!

If you don’t have an opt-in list your best chance of getting one is either creating a form on your website to collect names or signing up for Futuremail and using our form wizard to create one that you can place on your site. You’ll then be collecting emails from clients and potential customers and your marketing will then be 1000 times more powerful than spamming people.

Fair Use Policy

Your annual capped plan of $499 is subject to a fair use policy of 20,000 emails per month. This is the most cost effective option that we know of available today. If you wish to send more than 20,000 emails per month that’s no problem – we can cater for that. Just contact sales@futuremail.com.au and we’ll tailor a package to suit your requirements.
